Robert L. Thorsen President Bob is a second generation builder having founded Thorsen Construction Co, Inc. with his father in 1976. Amassing well over 30 years of experience and leadership, Bob ultimately oversees all operations at Thorsen Construction and is heavily involved in the company’s growth and success. His abundant knowledge and experience in all phases of construction process, coupled with his integrity and diligent work ethic, has made Thorsen Construction a competent and reliable business. Bob, who grew up locally and attended Ft. Hunt High School and nearby Virginia Commonwealth University, is proud to have third generation Thorsen Construction equally as committed to excellence in the construction industry as he is. |

Jim Davis Vice President As Vice President and General Manager of Thorsen Construction, Jim is a complete expert in all avenues of the construction industry. Shortly after he studied Architecture at the University of the District of Columbia, Jim began working with Thorsen Construction full time. With over 25 years of experience in all the major trades as well running his own company, Jim is recognized by his peers as one of the most knowledgeable people in the business. Jim is highly skilled in managing the success and completion of all projects. |

Robert Thorsen Project Manager Robert joined Thorsen Construction full-time in June of 2005 after spending time between semesters in the business. Robert currently oversees production and serves as Project Manager for multiple residential projects throughout the Washington D.C. area. Having graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2005, Robert now lives in Alexandria where he serves in numerous industry and charitable organizations. |

Rebecca Thorsen Customer Relations Upon recently obtaining her undergraduate degree, Becca brought her organizational and customer relation skills to Thorsen Construction. Having developed close relationships with many of the area’s finest showrooms and designers, Becca ensures that each client receives the personal attention and assistance required for a superb overall project experience. |

James
Thorsen Project Manager James became part of the production team in the fall of 2008 as a Project Manager. With over a dozen jobs going on at any given time, James dedicates his service to ensure project efficiency, professionalism and excellence. James is a Certified Lead Renovator and heads up much of the company’s safety initiatives. Upon obtaining his undergraduate degree in History, James has become an active member of the Alexandria Historical society. |

John Thorsen Sales and Estimating Having grown up in the business, John decided to join the company full-time in 2007 after earning a B.A. in Business & Economics. John's primary scope of work includes delivering precise and competitive prices for many of the area’s premier residential and light commercial projects. As a diligent student of better business practices with an unwavering drive for success, John also focuses on sustainable company growth. |
